Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Kingdom Stain & Seal. Our goal is to provide quality wood restoration and staining services while protecting both the customer and contractor. By accepting an estimate, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

• Scope of Work
  • Services will be performed as outlined in the approved estimate.
  • Any additional work requested outside the original estimate may require a written change order and additional charges.
• Wood & Surface Conditions
  • Wood is a natural product and may contain knots, cracks, checks, splits, warping, mill glaze, discoloration, or other imperfections beyond our control.
  • Variations in stain color, grain appearance, and absorption are normal and expected.
  • Existing damage, rot, loose boards, loose fasteners, or structural issues are not the responsibility of Kingdom Stain & Seal unless specifically included in the estimate.
• Cleaning & Preparation
  • Proper cleaning and preparation are essential for stain performance.
  • Customers understand that some stains, coatings, mold, mildew, algae, rust, tannin stains, and other contaminants may not be completely removable.
  • Deep cleaning may reveal previously hidden wood defects.
• Staining Services
  • Final stain color may vary based on wood species, age, moisture content, previous treatments, and exposure to weather.
  • Sample colors are approximations and are not guarantees of final appearance.
  • Drying and curing times vary depending on weather conditions.
• Customer Responsibilities
  • Customer agrees to provide access to water and electricity if needed.
  • All personal property, furniture, grills, vehicles, decorations, and other items should be removed from the work area before service begins.
  • Pets and children should be kept away from the work area during service and drying periods.
• Weather Delays
  • Scheduling may be adjusted due to weather, moisture levels, or other conditions that could impact quality.
  • Kingdom Stain & Seal reserves the right to postpone work to ensure proper application and results.
• Payment
  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Unpaid balances may be subject to collection fees and applicable legal costs.
• Warranty
  • Kingdom Stain & Seal warrants workmanship for a period of 12 months from the completion date.
  • Warranty does not cover normal weathering, fading, foot traffic wear, acts of nature, sprinkler damage, standing water, wood movement, structural defects, or lack of maintenance.
  • Warranty is limited to repair or reapplication of affected areas at Kingdom Stain & Seal's discretion.
• Maintenance
  • Exterior wood surfaces require routine maintenance.
  • Manufacturer-recommended maintenance coats are typically required every 2–3 years, depending on exposure and conditions.
• Limitation of Liability
  • Kingdom Stain & Seal's liability is limited to the amount paid for services performed.
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Acceptance

  By approving the estimate or allowing work to begin, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
